RTI at a glance
| Area | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Who RTI is for | Adults starting structured training and experienced lifters who want control over workouts and progression. Training can be at home or in a gym. |
| Public availability | Android is available. The iOS app is coming soon. Platform information checked 18 October 2026. |
| Free coaching | All available 20- and 30-minute coach-led plans for one or three training days a week, including equipment selection, coaching and workout logging. No trial expiry or session limit. Session length is a planning target, not a hard stop. |
| Paid planning options | Paid plans expand scheduling to up to six training days and add 45- and 60-minute session targets, alongside additional tools. Compare current access and regional prices. |
| Workout choices | Follow coached workouts, start a 12-week Playbook programme, choose individual Playbook sessions, or build your own sessions and save reusable templates with eligible paid tools. Save plans, sessions and templates in Favourites. Playbook sessions can be followed as written or with coaching to assist progression. |
| Rep Logger | Self-directed workout logging: choose the work and record sets, reps, weight and effort without a Session Score. Workout building and template tools are paid features. |
| Coaching modes | Basic Simple access is Free. Full Simple coaching starts with Coach; Guided starts with Performance; Precision starts with Elite. Guided uses broad effort levels; Precision accepts numerical RPE feedback out of 10. |
| Progression | Completed work, effort and recent training inform targets. The coach can build reps before adding load, repeat targets or reduce work. Progression depends on the workout, evidence and selected settings; increases are not guaranteed each session. |
| Training blocks | Coach uses RTI-selected block type and length. Performance adds block-length choice. Elite adds block-type choice: Foundation, Hypertrophy, Strength, Peak / Test, Deload and Maintenance. See coaching blocks in practice. |
| Progression controls | Eligible plans offer Adaptive or Fixed logic, Steady or Wave training style, and Conservative, Balanced or Aggressive progression pace. These controls affect coached training, not every self-directed workout. |
| Equipment | Save named equipment setups and choose the equipment available today. During an active workout, equipment changes preserve completed work and update remaining exercises. Detailed load hardware, preferences and restriction controls depend on plan. |
| Training history and progress | Review completed workouts and exercise performance. Paid access expands history and progress tools, including achievements and estimated one-rep max. |
| Recovery context | Muscle readiness estimates recovery from recent training. Muscle contribution shows the distribution of logged training. These are context, not medical measurements or a guarantee of readiness. |
| Advanced Analytics and exports | Elite includes period-based analytics, exercise performance, saved coach targets and explanations, muscle-group comparisons, training history CSV and PDF reports. |
| Friends | Supported social features include activity, reactions, selected-measure comparisons, streaks and quests, with sharing and safety controls. Availability varies by plan and feature; Momentum reflects recent training consistency. |
| Health connections | Supported health integrations depend on plan, platform, device and permission. Android Health Connect is supported; Apple HealthKit is for the upcoming iOS app. |
| Exercise calories | Estimated exercise energy is included free. It is not measured calorie burn or food logging. |
| Subscription access ending | Logged training is not the same as the active coaching plan. When paid access ends, Free limits apply and the active plan may be replaced. See the billing answers for details. |
