Adults of different ages and experience levels training independently in a modern gym

Features

Less guesswork. A session to follow.

An app-based training coach for adults of all experience levels. Start with your goals, available time and equipment, then get help with what to do, how much to do and what comes next.

The coaching loop

What should I do today?

Your recent training, estimated recovery and available equipment help shape the next session. Follow the suggested targets, adjust what you need, and log your work to give the next recommendation more context.

Next session

Turns your recent training, capacity, momentum, and equipment into a practical workout with clear targets before you start.

Capacity
Your overall strength and fitness progress
Momentum

Readiness

Uses logged work to estimate muscle recovery and shape what should be pushed or eased.

Logging

Keeps weight, reps, effort, and completion quick enough to use while you are training.

Progress

Turns sessions into trends, best marks, volume, and verified training history so every workout lands somewhere meaningful.

Choose where your workout comes from

Start with RTI's plan, choose a workout, or just record your own.

First choose the workout. Then decide whether RTI sets the targets or you manage the session yourself.

RTI plans it

Open Home and follow today's session.

RTI prepares a workout from your goals, available time, equipment, recent training and recovery. Paid plans offer 1–6 training days a week and 20-, 30-, 45- or 60-minute session targets.

  • Exercises and targets chosen for you
  • A weekly plan that keeps sessions connected
  • Future recommendations adapt as you train
Choose or build it

Start with a workout that suits you.

Choose from the Playbook, reuse a template or build a workout. Then let RTI guide the targets or manage them yourself.

  • Playbook, templates and Workout Builder
  • Coach-Led or Self-Guided options
  • Optional scoring for eligible structured workouts
Rep Logger

Just record your workout.

Use RTI's dedicated workout logger and tracker to record exercises, sets, reps and load without a Session Score.

  • No planned structure required
  • A fast record of the work you complete
  • Still informs history, readiness and recovery

Workout history

Every completed workout stays useful.

Coached, self-guided and Rep Logger sessions stay together in your training history. Review what you completed, when you trained and how each session contributed to the wider training picture.

  • Find previous sessions by date.
  • Keep coached and self-directed training in one record.
  • Let completed work inform readiness, recovery and future progression.

Inside the app

See what is ready, and where the work is going.

Muscle readiness estimates help explain when to push and when to ease back. Muscle contribution shows where completed work is landing, without asking you to interpret a spreadsheet.

How it works

Each screen answers a different training question.

RTI home screen showing a planned recovery day within the training week
Recovery planned
What should I do today?

Where does recovery fit in my week?

Training, recovery and completed work sit inside one weekly plan. When the plan calls for recovery, RTI explains why and keeps the programme moving instead of treating a rest day as a broken streak.

Readiness
What is ready to train?

When should I ease back?

See estimated muscle recovery based on your logged training and the time since you trained. Use it alongside how you feel, rather than treating a readiness score as permission to push through pain.

RTI exercise demonstration showing movement guidance and coaching cues
Exercise guidance
How hard should this set be?

How much should I do, and how do I do it?

Weight, reps, effort, and coaching review stay close to the log button so the workout stays moving. If you do not know how to perform an exercise, you can open RTI's exercise demo for guidance before you begin the set.

RTI equipment setup showing available plates and load configuration
Equipment setup
What can I train with?

What if my equipment changes?

Tell RTI what equipment and loading options are actually available. Exercise selection, substitutions and achievable load jumps can then reflect your setup instead of assuming every gym has the same kit.

Exercise preferences

Make the plan fit your body and your equipment.

Tell RTI which movements are unsuitable, uncomfortable or unavailable. The coach can use those preferences when choosing exercises, helping you avoid repeatedly changing a workout after it has already started.

  • Exclude high-impact, floor-based or overhead movements.
  • Account for areas that need additional consideration.
  • Keep unsuitable exercises out of future recommendations.

Weekly coaching

What happens when my week changes?

A shorter session, a missed day or different equipment should not mean starting over. Weekly coaching brings planned training, recovery and completed work together to help you decide what to do next.

01

Weekly coach calendar

Builds the week from your setup and moves it forward as sessions are completed, skipped, or adjusted.

02

Duration fit

Shapes the session around the training time you actually have, instead of assuming every day is wide open.

03

Equipment fallbacks

When the planned work does not fit today's setup, RTI can point you toward reduced sessions, matched plans, or one-off alternatives.

04

Recovery handling

Recovery days, skip flows, and deload logic are part of the plan, not afterthoughts bolted on after training.

A plan you can inspect

Today, this week and the wider training block stay connected.

RTI shows what today's session contains, where it sits in the week and what the current training block is trying to develop. You can follow the recommendation without losing sight of the plan behind it.

Workout scoring

See how the session went.

Scoring is not another way to train. It is an optional way to measure an eligible completed workout, follow your own results over time and compare trusted results with friends or peers.

Complete

Finish the workout.

Follow RTI's targets or complete the structured workout you selected.

Session Score

See a clear result.

RTI summarises the quality and completeness of eligible work recorded in the session.

Verified

Make comparisons more trustworthy.

Verification checks eligible workout data before a result is used for achievements or community comparison.

Compare

Track results over time.

Review your own scores and compare eligible verified results with friends or peers.

Rep Logger sessions remain unscored, but still contribute to your history, readiness and recovery context. Read how score verification works.

A wider view of progress

See whether your overall fitness is moving forward.

RTI brings useful fitness measures into one place, so progress is not reduced to body weight or a single lift. Capacity provides a clearer view of where you are now and how that changes over time.

  • Review individual fitness measures and previous results.
  • See progress beyond workout streaks and training volume.
  • Use the result as context, not as a judgement of your ability.

Health integrations

Works with Apple Health and Samsung Health.

RTI can use connected health signals to improve readiness and day-to-day training decisions.

Support inside the app

RTI also listens back.

Feedback, bug reports, verification issues, ratings, and support requests are built into the product so the system can improve with real use, not guesswork.

01

Rate the experience.

Quick in-app ratings help track whether RTI feels useful, clear, and trustworthy.

02

Report what is off.

Users can send structured feedback on the workout engine, score logic, UI, account data, and overall flow.

03

Capture real issues.

Crash reports, wrong data, score problems, and broken flows can be described with useful context instead of vague app-store complaints.

04

Stay reachable.

The website and support email connect to the same RTI support flow so questions do not disappear into a dead inbox.

FAQ

Plain answers.

Can I use RTI if I am new to exercise?

Yes. You do not need to arrive with a training programme. Start with your goals, experience, available time and equipment, then follow a coached session. Exercise demos provide movement guidance and coaching cues for unfamiliar exercises. RTI is for adults aged 18 and over, from beginners to experienced users.

Do I have to follow the RTI coach?

No. Follow today's Home workout, choose or build a workout from the Playbook, templates or Workout Builder, then select RTI guidance or manage the targets yourself. You can also use Rep Logger from RTI Coach upward to record a self-directed workout.

How much will RTI cost?

RTI pricing is shown in your local app store and can vary by country. The app already loads live store pricing when available.

How does workout scoring work?

Scoring does not decide where your workout comes from or how you train. It can measure an eligible completed structured workout, helping you review your own results and compare verified scores where available. Rep Logger remains unscored.

What is Rep Logger?

Rep Logger is RTI's dedicated workout logger and tracker, available from RTI Coach upward. Build and record your own session with exercises, sets, reps and load without a Session Score. The work still supports progression, muscle readiness and recovery, and stays in your training history.

Can I compare progress with friends?

Yes. RTI includes private friends, lift and momentum leaderboards, weekly challenges, and privacy controls so you can choose what other people see. Eligible verified scores can appear on leaderboards.

What are verified scores?

Verification checks that a score came from eligible, sufficiently complete workout data. This helps make achievements and friend or leaderboard comparisons more trustworthy.

Can RTI write workouts back to health apps?

Yes. Connected health support is designed to help with readiness and training decisions, and RTI can also support workout write-back to the health app.

Why would a score be limited?

A score may be limited if the session does not include enough complete, useful, or trusted work. RTI is trying to reward quality training, not just any logged numbers.

Can RTI work with home equipment?

Yes. RTI can adapt around what you have available, including bodyweight, mats, dumbbells, barbells, plates, and different load jumps.

Does RTI include exercise demos and coaching cues?

Yes. Open an exercise demo for movement guidance, coaching cues and safety notes before you begin. Demos help explain an exercise; they do not check your technique.

Does RTI replace medical advice?

No. RTI is an app-based training coach, not a substitute for a qualified professional. It cannot observe your technique, diagnose injury or assess whether an exercise is safe for your individual medical circumstances.
